Playlists - Blog
2021-01-08We've just finished rolling out playlist files for those of you who would prefer to play using your own media player.
This means you can play movies and series from things like VLC or mpv, or a media server (if it supports it).
Security
Your playlist file is yours. It includes sensitive information about your account. You probably don't want to go sharing it with your friends, lest you end up with problems later on.
If you do accidentally share the file, you must head to Settings and click 'Roll User Token'. This will log out anything that uses our API, but keep your account safe.
Categories
You'll find that each category page now has a link to your personal playlist file.
For example: Kaiju.
Click 'Playlist File' to download the file, or copy the link, and hand it to your media player.
Series
You'll find that each series page now has a link to your personal playlist file.
For example: Stark Raving Mad.
Click 'Playlist File' to download the file, or copy the link, and hand it to your media player.
